Peer Connections - 2009

DBSA held their 2009 annual convention in Indianapolis, Indiana from Thursday, September 10th thru Sunday, September 13th.  A DBSA Succasunna member was present to represent our group 

Keynote presentations included 1) Crystal Crawford (CEO, educator, advocate, lay minister); 2) David Granierer (stand-up comic, counselor, author, consumer); 3)    Victoria Maxwell (playwright, actress, educator, and consumer); and 4)    Darby Penney (researcher, author, educator, and ex-patient) presents "The Lives They Left Behind: Suitcases from a State Hospital Attic."
