DBSA Succasunna (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance Succasunna) is a self help support group offering various types of support (peer support group meetings, educational meetings, and more) for consumers also known as patients (people diagnosed with depression or bipolar disorder/manic depression), family members, including parents of minors, and friends. Family members and friends are more than welcome to attend with or without the person diagnosed with a mental health problem.
Our group’s mission is to improve the lives of people living with mood disorders and related illnesses, by providing support and education to such persons, their families and friends, living in and around Morris County.
DBSA Succasunna is affiliated with the largest illness specific patient run organization in the U.S., DBSA. DBSA has over 400 chapters that host over 1,000 support groups each year with their mission being to improve the lives of people living with mood disorders.
